Privacy policy

Stretchwise for iPhone and iPad · Effective 15 September 2026

In short: Stretchwise doesn't collect, sell or share any of your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Microphone

Stretchwise uses the microphone only while you're tuning, to measure the pitch of the piano. The sound is analysed on your device as you play and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can turn microphone access off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

Your pianos

The pianos you create, their readings, target corrections, client and instrument details, and visit history are stored on your device, inside the app. We have no access to them.

iCloud sync

If iCloud sync is available and you turn it on, your pianos are stored in your own private iCloud account so they stay the same on your devices. Apple handles that data under its own privacy policy. We can't see or access it. You can turn sync off in the app, and manage the data in your device's iCloud settings.

Files you share

Backups, piano files, and PDF or CSV reports are created only when you choose to share or save them, and go only where you send them (for example Files, AirDrop or email). Files you import are read on your device.

Crash reports

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. They don't identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.

Children

Stretchwise doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
